AI-Ready data infrastructure getting a boost at India AI Impact Summit 2026

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is highlighting growing momentum toward building advanced, energy-efficient data infrastructure to support the expanding adoption of artificial intelligence across sectors. Anant Raj Limited and Submer, the full-stack AI infrastructure provider, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the India AI Impact Summit 2026 to develop fully operational, AI-ready data centers across India. The agreement marks a major step toward strengthening the country’s artificial intelligence infrastructure and enabling scalable, sovereign computing capabilities.

The collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of high-density, energy-efficient computing platforms designed to support rapidly growing AI workloads. By combining advanced liquid-cooling technology developed in Europe with India’s expanding infrastructure ecosystem, the initiative seeks to create integrated facilities capable of handling GPU-intensive operations while maintaining sustainability standards.

The development aligns with the Union Budget 2026-27’s focus on expanding domestic AI infrastructure and building a resilient semiconductor and data ecosystem. Designed around modular and energy-efficient architecture, the planned facilities are expected to reduce operational costs while enabling faster rollout of computing capacity needed for advanced AI applications.

The partnership will also strengthen cloud and edge computing capabilities through a unified platform that allows enterprises and public-sector organisations to deploy and scale AI solutions efficiently with lower latency. This approach is expected to widen access to high-performance computing resources, supporting innovation across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and finance.

Industry observers view the initiative as a key milestone in India’s journey toward technological sovereignty, reflecting a broader shift from pilot AI projects to large-scale operational deployment supported by robust digital infrastructure. As demand for artificial intelligence continues to expand globally, such collaborations position India as an emerging hub for sustainable and scalable AI infrastructure development.
