Amrit Udyan to Open for Public from February 2

The iconic Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open for public viewing from February 2 to March 30, according to a press release issued by the President’s Secretariat on Tuesday.

Visitors can enjoy the beautifully curated gardens six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Mondays reserved for maintenance. Additionally, the garden will remain closed on February 5 for Delhi Legislative Assembly polling, February 20 and 21 for the Visitors’ Conference, and on March 14 for Holi.

Entry and exit for all visitors will be through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, near North Avenue. A shuttle bus service will be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for the convenience of visitors.

Special days have been designated for specific groups to visit the garden:

March 26 – Differently-abled persons

March 27 – Personnel from defence, paramilitary, and police forces

March 28 – Women and Tribal Women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

March 29 – Senior citizens

Entry to Amrit Udyan is free, with both online booking and walk-in entry available. Visitors can book their slots at https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in.

As part of the Amrit Udyan celebrations, Rashtrapati Bhavan will also host Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav from March 6 to 9. This year’s Mahotsav will highlight the rich cultural heritage and unique traditions of Southern India.
