Brazil begin quest for 10th Copa America title

Nine-times champions Brazil go into the Copa America under the leadership of Dorival Junior, who took over as coach in January after a run of poor results in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup under Fernando Diniz.

They open their Group D campaign against Costa Rica on June 24 at SoFi Stadium in California, followed by an encounter with Paraguay four days later in Las Vegas.

They close out the group phase with a match against Colombia, who will be without their all-time leading goal-scorer in Radamel Falcao following his omission from the squad, on July 2 in Levi’s Stadium, home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.
