Buddha Air increases flights to Varanasi during Pitru Paksha

Buddha Air has expanded its flight schedule from Kathmandu to Varanasi, India, from two to three days a week. Starting September 17, 2024, the airline will operate flights every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Tribhuvan International Airport.

The increase in flights is aimed at accommodating the growing number of Nepali pilgrims traveling to Varanasi and Gaya for Pitru Paksha, a period dedicated to paying homage to ancestors. The airline believes that the additional flights will facilitate easier travel for passengers during this significant period.
