Centre invites nominations for Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, deadline July 31

The government has invited nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP), the national award that recognises exceptional achievements by children across fields including bravery, sports, social service, science and technology, environment, and arts and culture.

Nominations can be submitted online through the National Awards Portal, with the last date for applications set as July 31, 2026. Both self-nominations and recommendations by citizens will be considered.

Children above five years and up to 18 years of age as on July 31, 2026, who are Indian citizens residing in India, are eligible for the awards. The annual honours are conferred on children whose achievements merit national recognition.

The government said applications will be accepted only through the National Awards Portal, where detailed guidelines for the award are also available.
