COAS Indian Army General Upendra Dwivedi felicitates gallantry awardees in Pokhara

General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Indian Army, visited Pokhara today and addressed a large Ex-servicemen Rally of Nepal-domiciled Gorkha Ex-servicemen in the sprawling lawns of PPO Pokhara.

Accompanied by his spouse, Sunita Dwivedi, President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), General Dwivedi interacted with and felicitated gallantry awardees and Veer Naris present at the event.

The COAS praised the bravery of the Gorkha soldiers, saluting their courage and dedicated service to the nation. Later in the day, he visited the Western Division Headquarters of the Nepali Army in Pokhara.
