The Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon-starrer ‘Crew’ has made an impressive start at the Box Office. Initial estimates suggest that the film grossed Rs 10.28 crore in India and Rs 20.07 crore worldwide on its opening day.

Expressing her gratitude on Instagram, producer Ekta Kapoor thanked the audience for their love and support towards the film.

She wrote, “Thank you, India! My team and our director have shown the world how it’s done! A tiny ant can defeat an elephant, and here we had three!”

‘Crew’, a story revolving around three women, promises a laughter-packed experience against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. Their journeys lead to unexpected twists, landing them in a web of deception.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, ‘Crew’ stars Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon as feisty air hostesses. From pilfering snacks meant for flights to making plans for financial gain and adding glamour, the trio has captured everyone’s attention.

Comedian Kapil Sharma and singer Diljit Dosanjh play supporting roles in the film.

The movie has become the third-highest opening in Hindi cinema this year, following ‘Fighter’ and ‘Shaitaan’, which opened with Rs 24.6 crore and Rs 15.21 crore, respectively. It has surpassed the opening of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, which garnered Rs 7.02 crore.

However, ‘Crew’ faces stiff competition from ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, which minted Rs 13.80 crore on its opening day.
