Kartick was watching the DD News at his Ahiritola home in Calcutta and spotted son Sahil among the inmates at the home and contacted officers. The sleuths obtained the details from DD News  and got in touch with Nirmal Hriday.

Kartick and wife Suman rushed to Nakashipara and reunited with their son Sahil, who had gone missing on February 10th, 2017 from a playground near his home .
