Delhi: One dead after fire breaks out at CR building in ITO

One person has been killed after a fire broke out on the third floor of the Central Revenue Building located at the Income Tax Office (ITO) area in the national capital on Tuesday, police said.

“The deceased was 46-year-old and was working as an Office Superintendent”, the police said.

According to the Delhi Police, a PCR was received at 02:38 pm regarding the fire on the third floor of the CR building.

Upon receiving the information, the fire department and police personnel rushed to the spot.

The police said that the fire was brought under control and seven persons were rescued from there.
