Drone Strikes Hit Kuwait Airport Fuel Tanks, Bahrain Facility; Saudi Intercepts Drones

Kuwait International Airport was hit early Wednesday in a drone attack targeting fuel storage facilities, Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced.Official spokesperson Abdullah Al Rajhi said the drones struck fuel tanks belonging to the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company, triggering a large fire and causing significant material damage. Emergency teams responded immediately and authorities confirmed there were no casualties. Flights were briefly affected, but airport operations continued.

In Bahrain, the Interior Ministry said civil defence teams were extinguishing a fire at a company facility following  an Iranian attack. No casualties were reported and investigations were ongoing.Saudi Arabia also reported intercepting two drones in the past few hours. The Defence Ministry said the drones were destroyed before reaching their targets, with no damage or casualties reported.The incidents come as Gulf countries remain on high alert, with air defence systems monitoring further threats amid rising regional tensions.
