Raj Bhavan sources reports, the Governor will return to Ranchi from Delhi on Thursday. Governor Bais was in Delhi for a personal visit since last three days. Sources said that the sealed report sent by the Election Commission will be opened only after the Governor returns to Ranchi.

Earlier in February, a delegation of BJP leaders had met the Governor and demanded that Chief Minister Hemant Soren should be disqualified for obtaining stone mining lease under Article 191(e) of the Constitution of India as well as Section 9(a) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 .

Following this complaint by BJP leaders, the Governor had sought the advice of the Election Commission under Article 192 of the Constitution.

At present, the political stir has increased in Jharkhand after the receipt of the letter of the Election Commission.
