ECI to issue notification for final phase of Lok Sabha elections

The Election Commission of India will issue the notification on Tuesday for the seventh and concluding phase of the Lok Sabha elections. This phase will witness voting on June 1 in 57 Lok Sabha constituencies spread across seven states and one Union territory.

The constituencies scheduled for voting in this phase include 13 seats each from Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, nine from West Bengal, eight from Bihar, six from Odisha, four from Himachal Pradesh, three from Jharkhand, and one from the Union territory of Chandigarh.

The deadline for filing nominations is May 14, with the last date for withdrawal set for May 17 by the Election Commission.
