Egypt Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty calls on PM Modi

Egypt Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.

During the meeting, PM Modi extended warm congratulations to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for Egypt’s crucial role in brokering the Gaza Peace Agreement. He expressed hope that the agreement would pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the region.

Abdelatty briefed the Prime Minister on the first India-Egypt Strategic Dialogue being held during his visit, marking a significant milestone in strengthening ties between the two nations.

PM Modi expressed satisfaction with the steady progress in bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including trade, technology, energy, defence, and people-to-people engagement.
