ESIC records surge in job growth in November

The growth in employment extends beyond individuals, with approximately 20,830 new establishments now registered under ESIC. This expansion widens the social security coverage for workers across the nation.

Among the newly registered employees, a significant 47%, totaling 7.47 lakh individuals, fall within the age group of up to 25 years.
A noteworthy increase has been observed in the net enrolment of female members, with 3.17 lakh new female employees joining the scheme in November 2023. Additionally, the data reveals the registration of 58 transgender individuals under the ESI Scheme during the same period.
