Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit opens in Dubai with historic assembly of Nobel Laureates

The Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit opened today at Expo City Dubai, marking what organizers describe as the world’s largest peace conference. Twelve Nobel Peace Prize laureates shared a single stage, joined by global leaders, policymakers, activists, and cultural figures in a show of unity aimed at fostering dialogue and cooperation.

The two-day event, themed “One Planet, One Voice: Global Justice, Love and Peace,” began with a series of high-level panel discussions and keynote speeches addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today. Former President of Poland and Nobel laureate Lech Wałęsa called for a new world order rooted in shared human values. “We stand at a critical juncture where dialogue must prevail over division,” he said. “Our discussions here lay the groundwork for a more just international framework.”

Participants included royalty, heads of state, chief justices, business leaders, religious figures, and peace advocates from across continents. Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Chairman of the World Peacekeepers Movement and chief organizer of the summit, noted the scale of participation as evidence of growing global momentum for peace. “The energy in the room today reflects a genuine desire for transformative change,” he said. “We are witnessing the power of collective wisdom as these diverse voices converge around our shared humanity.”

Among the key sessions on the first day was “Building Blocks of Peace & Justice,” which focused on mutual respect as a foundation for a just and harmonious world. Moderated byParalympian Dr. Deepa Malik, the panel included Habil Khorakiwala of India’s Wockhardt Group, Ekaterina Zagladina of Russia’s World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates Secretariat, philanthropist Kawaljeet Singh Chabra, and artist-humanitarian Sacha Jafri.

In a subsequent session titled “Leading with Love,” speakers explored whether love could be a guiding principle for governance and justice. South African actress and humanitarian Hlubi Mboya-Arnold moderated the discussion featuring Mishal Hamed Kanoo, Chairman of the Kanoo Group; Nadir Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Industries; and Dr. Rahul Vishwanath Karad of MIT World Peace University.

Environmental stewardship was the focus of the afternoon’s final session, “Beloved Mother Earth, Our Home,” moderated by former Mauritian President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim. The panel emphasized the connection between ecological sustainability and lasting peace. Panelists included Judge Mohamed Abd-Salam of Egypt, Dr. Sara Al Madani of the UAE, Buddhist leader Dr. Thich Nhat Tu of Vietnam, and General Bikram Singh, former Chief of the Indian Army.

The summit continues on Sunday with the highly anticipated Nobel Peace Laureates Session, during which all 12 laureates will present frameworks for non-violence, truth, and universal justice. The event will conclude with the unveiling of the “Peace Charter: Love Letter to Humanity,” a document intended to provide guiding principles for global equity, dignity, and sustainability.
