Dr. Kevin Frey, the CEO of UNICEF's Generation Unlimited, to launch the latest initiative, Green Rising, in the presence of India's Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change at COP28. Focused on youth engagement, Generation Unlimited's campaign in India, known as YuWaah, is set to drive meaningful environmental actions at the grassroots level, inspired by the Mission Life movement.

The newly launched global “Green Rising” initiative and “Green Rising India Alliance” represent a joint effort by UNICEF, Generation Unlimited, and a diverse network of public, private, and youth partners. The primary objective is to mobilize millions of young people globally, encouraging them to actively participate in green initiatives that address and adapt to the severe impacts of climate change on their communities.
