A new direct flight service connecting Ahmedabad and Keshod (Junagadh district) was inaugurated on Tuesday to aid pilgrims visiting the revered Somnath temple. This initiative reflects the Gujarat government’s commitment to boosting tourism in the region.

To further assist travelers, the Somnath Trust has introduced a complimentary pickup service from Keshod airport. Passengers praised the reduced travel time—now just two hours from Ahmedabad—and the comfort of the air-conditioned bus service provided for their journey to the temple. The Trust ensures that pilgrims traveling from both Ahmedabad and Mumbai enjoy free bus services, enhancing their visit to Somnath Dham.

Vijay Singh Chavda, General Manager of the Shri Somnath Trust, emphasized the Trust’s dedication to providing amenities for pilgrims. These developments aim to offer a more convenient and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
