The Consul General of China in Kolkata, Zha Liyou has praised India for Chandrayaan-3’s success. With this feat, India etched history on August 23 as Vikram Lander made a soft landing on the South Pole of the Moon. With this historic feat, India became the first country to reach the South Pole of the Moon. The world hailed India for Chandrayaan-3’s success and now Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover are currently in “sleep mode” as the set tasks have been completed. He said, his country is willing to work with all parties including India to serve as a builder of world peace.
He lauded the success of the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. He said this at the celebrations held in Kolkata for the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. He said, “Seeing the wonderful landing is really-really exciting. I tweeted that this is an achievement for all human beings. I am very happy and proud of India for that achievement.”
Zha Liyou reacted as Union Minister Anurag Thakur condemned China’s refusal to grant visas to three Indian athletes. Zha Liyou said, “Asian Games is the game for all of us. We are family and for these specific issues, I am sure the Chinese MFA and India's MEA have already said that. This is a bilateral issue and I would invite you to reach out to the Chinese Embassy. If you have any problems, I can help you.”
The Consul General of China Zha Liyou while giving a speech at the 74th anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, held in Kolkata, said that his country is willing to work with all parties including India to serve as a builder of world peace.
He said, “China is willing to work with all parties, including India, to serve as the builder of world peace, a contributor to global development and defender of the international order with a broader vision, a more open mind, and a more positive attitude and write a new chapter in the programs of human political civilizations. China and India share this commonality of very long history and civilization.”
