Hoax bomb threats sent to multiple CRPF schools across country

Several Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools across India, including two in Delhi and one in Hyderabad, received hoax bomb threats on Monday night, ANI reported.

The threats came via email, warning of a bomb explosion at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Authorities later confirmed the threats were a hoax.

Multiple agencies, including the CRPF, Intelligence Bureau, and Delhi Police, have launched an investigation into the incident.

The hoax came a day after a blast occurred outside a CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini. A pro-Khalistani group claimed responsibility for the explosion, which damaged part of the school’s wall. Although there were no injuries, nearby buildings and vehicles sustained damage.

Several domestic airlines have also received bomb threats recently, resulting in the cancellation or rescheduling of over 90 flights, leading to significant financial losses for airlines. All the threats were ultimately determined to be hoaxes.
