The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, organised a ‘Niveshak Shivir’ in Bhubaneswar in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Market Infrastructure Institutions, offering a one-stop platform for resolving investor grievances. Held at Jaydev Vihar, the camp focused on issues related to unclaimed dividends, shares, and pending IEPFA claims, drawing participation from over 285 investors and claimants from across Odisha.
The one-day camp provided on-the-spot assistance, including KYC updates, nomination services, and claim facilitation, while enabling direct interaction with officials from IEPFA, SEBI, registrars and transfer agents, and participating companies. A dedicated help desk for the IEPFA Search Facility also helped investors identify unclaimed investments and guided them through the claim process using Form IEPF-5.
The Bhubaneswar camp is part of IEPFA’s nationwide outreach initiative aimed at enhancing investor awareness and simplifying claim redressal. Following similar events in cities such as Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Amritsar, and Bengaluru, the initiative continues to expand its reach, reinforcing efforts to build a transparent and investor-friendly financial ecosystem across the country.
