IIT experts to assist CBSE in resolving re-evaluation portal glitches

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has directed the deployment of expert teams from Indian Institute of Technology Madras ((IIT-Madras) and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) to assist the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in addressing technical issues affecting the board’s post-result re-evaluation services portal.

The move comes after several students and parents reported glitches and difficulties while accessing CBSE’s post-examination services following the declaration of board examination results.

According to the Education Ministry, the IIT expert teams will thoroughly examine all technical problems reported since the launch of this year’s re-evaluation and post-result services. The teams will focus on improving portal stability, strengthening server performance, and enhancing the overall robustness of the IT infrastructure.

The experts will also assess login authentication systems, user access mechanisms, and payment gateways to ensure smooth functioning and accurate processing of applications.

The Ministry said that the initiative aims to make the re-evaluation process more transparent, efficient, and student-friendly. Emphasising that student interests remain the top priority, Pradhan directed CBSE to implement all corrective measures on an urgent basis to prevent further inconvenience.
