IITF 2024 kicks off at Pragati Maidan with a global showcase

The 43rd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) commenced at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on November 14, with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurating the event. The fair will run through November 27.

With the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047,” this year’s event highlights India’s commitment to growth, innovation, and self-reliance, offering an exciting showcase of products and services from India and around the world.

A vast display space at Bharat Mandapam

The fair is being held over an expansive 1,07,000 square meters at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam halls, featuring more than 3,500 exhibitors from India and across the globe.

Global participation and focus states

International participants include countries such as China, Egypt, South Korea, and the UAE, making IITF 2024 a truly global trade event. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are the designated Partner States, while Jharkhand is the Focus State for this year’s fair.

Wide representation from states, ministries and private sector

In addition to participation from 33 States and Union Territories, 49 central ministries, government departments, and public sector undertakings (PSUs) will also be represented. Renowned private sector companies such as Titan, Jindal Steel & Power, JSW Steel, Relaxo, Hawkins, and Woodland will showcase their latest innovations.

Accessibility and visitor information

With an anticipated daily footfall of 1,00,000 visitors, IITF 2024 will be open for business and trade visitors from November 14 to 18, followed by public access from November 19 to 27. Tickets will be available at 55 Delhi Metro stations, via the Bharat Mandapam Mobile App, and on the ITPO website. Senior citizens and Divyangjan (persons with disabilities) will be granted free entry to make the event accessible for everyone.

Special access for senior citizens and Divyangjan

To enhance accessibility, senior citizens and Divyangjan will be granted free entry. A user-friendly route map and navigation tools will also be available via the Bharat Mandapam app, ensuring visitors can easily navigate the expansive venue and find halls, stalls, and directions.
