The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted extremely heavy rainfall across Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, and central Maharashtra.
According to IMD, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Telangana are likely to receive heavy rainfall on Tuesday.
The weather agency has also forecasted heavy rainfall in Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the National Capital Region is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday. On Monday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 27.6 degrees Celsius.
