India and Croatia on Tuesday convened the 11th session of Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in New Delhi.
Both sides conducted a comprehensive review of their bilateral relations, focusing on enhancing cooperation across various sectors including trade and economics, defence and maritime affairs, science and technology, innovation, research and development, tourism, culture, and people-to-people ties.
The Indian and the Croatian delegations also discussed international collaboration, particularly within the United Nations (UN) and other multilateral platforms.
They expressed satisfaction with the increasing cooperation aimed at strengthening India-European Union (EU) bilateral ties. Stressing the urgency, both parties advocated for the swift conclusion of a comprehensive, balanced, and mutually beneficial India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Additionally, they engaged in discussions on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Both parties agreed to host the next round of consultations in Zagreb, at a date mutually convenient for both sides.
