Later, in a dramatic showdown, HS Prannoy will face Lakshya Sen in the men’s singles Round of 16, with one player facing elimination.
The spotlight will also be on Swapnil Kusale, who made history as the first Indian shooter to reach the 50m rifle three positions final on Wednesday. He will now aim for a medal. Apart from this, the Indian men’s hockey team, having already secured a quarterfinal spot will face Belgium in their next pool match.
