Indian Women won T20 series with 5-0 against Bangladesh

Indian women cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 21 runs in the fifth and final T20 international match played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. With that, the women in Blue won the five match T20i series with 5-0 giving a big blow to the host Bangladesh. 

In today’s Match, the visiting Indian team won the toss and decided to bat first. India scored 156 runs after losing five wickets with wonderful performances by Dayalan Hemlatha(37) , Smiriti Mandhana (33), Captain Harmanpreet Kaur (30) and Richa Ghosh (28).

In reply, the host Bangladesh team scored 135 runs after losing six wickets in stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 21 runs. 

India’s Radha Yadav got the player of the match trophy; she took 3 wickets by giving 24 runs in four overs. She also got the player of the series title for her commendable performance in the entire series.
