Jaishankar hands over Made-in-India laptops to Trinidad and Tobago schoolchildren

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Friday joined Kamla Persad-Bissessar in distributing Made-in-India laptops to schoolchildren in Trinidad and Tobago, fulfilling a commitment made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit last year.

In a post on X, Jaishankar said, “Joined PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar at the presentation of Made-in-India laptops to Trinbagonian schoolchildren. Delivering on PM Narendra Modi’s commitment last year, this is a message of learning, awareness and opportunity.”

During his visit to Trinidad and Tobago, the two countries concluded agreements in the areas of tourism, renewable energy, development cooperation and traditional medicine aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
