Japanese Defense Minister Minoru Kihara and his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun held bilateral talks on Saturday (June 1) on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.
Speaking to Dong during the meeting, Kihara addressed the security concerns over China’s increasing military activities in the sea and airspace surrounding Japan.
The Shangri-La Dialogue security summit in Singapore runs till Sunday (June 2) and Kihara will deliver a speech in a plenary session about the regional security and challenges on Saturday.
