MotoHaus enters India’s fast-growing two-wheeler market with a diverse range of motorcycles, e-scooters

The Indian two-wheeler market is expanding fast, reaching every nook and corner of the country. It has just surpassed China to become the largest two-wheeler market in the world, which is amply driven by the rising demands, especially in the rural market, and supported by several factors including favorable monsoon conditions and government initiatives. The two-wheeler market size in the country reached 21.4 million units in 2023.

In the process, MotoHaus, a venture of KAW Veloce Motors Pvt Ltd (KVMPL), India’s premier bike emporium, has also launched two wheelers, promising to redefine the automotive retail landscape in the country, offering a diverse selection of electric and Internal Combustion Engine motorcycles. Its debut is headlined by brands like VLF and Brixton Motorcycles.

The company operates from KVMPL’s facility in Kolhapur, claiming an annual production capacity of 20,000 units. A team of over 300 skilled professionals ensures seamless manufacturing and assembly processes.

MotoHaus is setting up premium retail outlets across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Goa. The brand also plans to open 20 dealerships by mid-2025. Pre-bookings are now open via MotoHaus’ official website, social media official pages and retail outlets. The company aims to sell 10,000 bikes in its first year, with initial deliveries slated for December 2024.

The company is projecting 25% year-on-year growth, with plans to introduce additional globally renowned brands by 2026. A robust online platform and dedicated service network will support the retail presence, ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.

The launched two-wheelers include VLF Scooters is designed by Italian expert Alessandro Tartarini. It does include VLF Tennis. Similarly, its motorcycle range includes Brixton Motorcycles, Crossfire 500XC, Crossfire 500X, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X.
