The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the NEET PG 2024 examination on Sunday. The exam was held in two shifts across 416 centers in 170 cities.
Admit cards were issued to 2,28,540 candidates, with efforts made to allocate centers within their respective states, the Health Ministry said in a statement.
The examination was centrally managed from a command center at NBEMS’s Dwarka office in Delhi, under the supervision of Union Health Ministry officials and NBEMS representatives, the statement said.
Over 1,950 independent appraisers and 300 flying squad members were deployed to monitor the centers. Additionally, eight regional command centers were established to supervise the nationwide administration of the exam.
In an effort to prevent misinformation, NBEMS closely monitored social media to ensure that stakeholders received accurate information.
