Nepal’s FM Dr Arzu Rana claims her India visit promoted goodwill between the two neighbours

Foreign Minister of Nepal and Nepali Congress central member Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has claimed that her recent official visit to India remained successful.

In a meeting of the Nepali Congress central executive committee on Friday, she apprised that her visit to India from August 18-22 contributed significantly to promoting the goodwill between Nepal and India.

She added that she hoped that the visit had also added up to consolidating friendly, cooperative, multidimensional and close relations between the two countries.

During her stay, the Foreign Minister held a courtesy call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a bilateral meeting with her Indian counterpart Dr S Jaishankar. Such high-level meetings conferred the issues to promote bilateral interests and relations.
