Oscar winners shine on day 6 of the Cannes Film Festival

A collection of former Oscar winners graced the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 19).

Emerald green was the color chosen by actress Julianne Moore, in a shoulder-baring gown, embellished with ruffles. Gold hardware around her neck complemented her auburn tresses. Moore won an Academy Award in 2015 for her role in “Still Alice.”

Michelle Yeoh, who won an Oscar for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” sported fashionable bangs with her laser-cut leather fringe dress. The look was finished with a diamond necklace, adding a touch of elegance to the edgy look.

Veteran filmmaker Oliver Stone, a four-time Oscar winner, opted for classic sophistication in a traditional black tie and suit. Stone is at the festival to present his documentary “Lula”.

Scott Eastwood, hailing from the lineage of five-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Clint Eastwood, chose an all-black ensemble for his appearance at the festival.

Isabelle Huppert, a past Oscar nominee, enhanced her evening attire with an opulent cascade of diamond chains encircling her neck.

The festival continued to be a showcase for high fashion, with models like Candice Swanepoel donning a strapless dress that accentuated her silhouette. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a strapless black jumpsuit adorned with a silver fringe detail.

Sophie Wilde, one of this year’s recipients of the prestigious Trophee Chopard, opted for a structurally daring leather top paired with a flowing skirt, showcasing a unique approach to red carpet fashion.

The Cannes Film Festival will end on May 25.
