Ozonetel acquires CloudConnect communications

Ozonetel, a leading provider of the unified customer experience intelligence platform (oneCXi), has announced the acquisition of CloudConnect Communications, a mobile-first digital UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) provider and a Department of Telecommunications (DoT)-licensed virtual network operator (VNO).

This strategic acquisition positions Ozonetel to capitalize on the rapidly growing global UCaaS market, which is valued at over USD 50 billion. CloudConnect’s TRAI and DoT-compliant UCaaS solutions will now be integrated into Ozonetel’s oneCXi platform, enhancing the company’s suite of tools for modern business communication.

Ozonetel highlighted that the acquisition enables them to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions integrating workplace communication, collaboration, customer engagement, and experience management. As mobile technology increasingly disrupts traditional Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems, businesses face challenges with frequent communication interruptions. The integrated platform will streamline these processes, enabling employees to stay focused and executives to manage calls more efficiently, ultimately boosting organizational productivity.

The added UCaaS capabilities will also enhance customer experiences by ensuring calls are routed to the right employees, even outside office hours. This combination of mobile convenience and traditional system reliability empowers businesses to maintain control over communications while improving customer satisfaction.

Atul Sharma, Founder and CEO of Ozonetel, commented on the acquisition, saying, “The acquisition of CloudConnect strengthens our oneCXi platform to provide scalable, secure, and reliable communication solutions across industries. By adding UCaaS to our existing suite of CCaaS, CPaaS, CX, and AI solutions, we can offer enterprises 360-degree control over business communications. We are excited to welcome Team CloudConnect as we set new benchmarks together.”

Shalil Gupta, Managing Director (Global Growth) at Ozonetel, added, “With this acquisition, we are ready to help enterprises take a holistic approach to employee and customer experience. It not only redefines workplace communication but also elevates the customer experience.”

Raman Singh, Co-founder and CEO of CloudConnect, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are proud to join Ozonetel on this journey. Our combined expertise will set new benchmarks in the CX industry and allow us to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that meet regulatory standards. With CloudConnect’s telecom capabilities integrated across networks, we are adding significant value for enterprises.”
