Pakistan: Seven killed, two injured in separate shootings in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa

Seven people lost their lives, and two others, including a woman, sustained injuries in two separate shooting incidents in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

In the first incident, a dispute over a pathway escalated into a deadly clash between two local clans in the Bahadurabad area of Batkhela, leaving five people dead and one critically injured. Both groups reportedly opened fire on each other, resulting in multiple casualties. The deceased were identified as Iftikhar, son of Noor Hussain; Bilal, son of Rashid; Manan, son of Fazal Subhan; Abdul Kabir Khan, son of Taza Khan; and Rashid, son of Akbar Khan. Muhammad Rahim Khan, son of Abdul Kabir Khan, was seriously injured in the clash.

In a separate incident in the Kurram tribal district, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a bus near Dad Kumar in Lower Kurram, killing two men and injuring a woman. The victims were identified as Mushtaq Ali and Wahab Ali, while Sakina Bibi, a female passenger, was injured and is reportedly in stable condition.
