Paris 2024: Swapnil Kusale qualifies for final of men’s Rifle 50m 3P event

Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale finished seventh in the qualification round of the men’s 50m 3P to secure a spot in the final at the ongoing Paris Olympics on Wednesday. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar finished 11th and missed out on a berth in the final.

Both Kusale and Tomar participated in the men’s 50m 3P qualification round at the Olympics.

In his Olympic debut, Kusale achieved a score of 590-38x to place seventh, while Tomar ranked 11th with a score of 589-33x. Only the top eight shooters advanced to the final round, leaving Tomar out of the competition.

Liu Yukun of the People’s Republic of China set a new Olympic qualification record with a score of 594-38x.

The final event in scheduled for August 1, at 1 PM (IST).
