Following Manu Bhaker’s historic milestone as the first Indian woman to bag two medals in a single Olympic edition, the Indian contingent heads into Day 5 of the Paris Olympics with newfound confidence.

Leading the charge are top athletes such as PV Sindhu and Lovlina Borgohain. Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medallis, will compete in a group stage match, while boxer Lovlina will begin her campaign with a Round of 16 bout. Later in the day, badminton stars Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy will also be in action. In shooting, Aishwary Pratap Singh and Swapnil Kusale will aim to secure a spot in the final of the men’s 50m 3 positions event.
