The Indian men’s hockey team’s bronze medal match against Spain and Neeraj Chopra’s participation in the men’s javelin throw final are the highlights as India competes in the Paris Olympics on Thursday.

The day will begin with golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar playing round two of the women’s individual stroke play.

At 2:05 PM, Indian athlete Jyothi Yarraji will compete in the repechage round of the women’s 100m hurdles.

At 3:00 PM, India’s wrestlers Aman Sehrawat and Anshu will compete in the round of 16 of the men’s and women’s freestyle 57kg categories. If they qualify, the quarterfinals will take place at 4:20 PM.

After a tough loss to Germany in the men’s hockey semifinals, Team India, led by Harmanpreet Singh, will aim for a bronze medal as they face Spain at 5:30 PM.

If Aman qualifies, he will compete in the men’s 57kg freestyle semifinals at 9:45 PM, while Anshu’s semifinals in the women’s 57kg freestyle will begin at 10:25 PM.

Apart from this, India will be waiting with abated breaths for a decision on Vinesh Phogat appeal to the CAS to hand her the silver medal after she was disqualified from the women’s 50kg freestyle wrestling.
