PM Modi, Amit Shah greet Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers on RSS Sthapana Divas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers on its foundation day.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Today, on the special occasion of RSS Sthapana Divas, my greetings to all Swayamsevaks. I also pay homage to all those greats who have nurtured the RSS over the years. The RSS has completed a remarkable century of service, nation-building and social harmony.”

“Countless Swayamsevaks have worked for society with a deep sense of duty and a nation-first spirit. May this spirit keep strengthening national development in the times to come,” he added.

The Prime Minister also shared RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s address at the Shatabdi Varsh Shri Vijayadashami Utsav in Nagpur, describing it as motivating. He said Bhagwat had discussed national progress, social unity, self-reliance and the need to strengthen society’s character.

PM Modi particularly highlighted Bhagwat’s emphasis on service and nation-building, as well as his remarks on how the “Panch Parivartan” could contribute to positive social change.

HM Shah, in a Hindi post on X, praised RSS volunteers for serving the country with unwavering dedication and a “Nation First” spirit. He said the organisation was nurturing Indian culture, encouraging patriotism and involving young people in nation-building.

He added that RSS service initiatives across the country were strengthening the resolve to build a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and described the organisation’s journey as one dedicated to national resurgence, social unity and cultural consciousness. He said the sacrifice, discipline and commitment of volunteers had inspired service and given renewed energy to national life.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also greeted RSS volunteers, saying the organisation regarded society as family and service as a spiritual pursuit. He highlighted the principle of “Idam Rashtraya, Idam Na Mama”, and “This is for the nation, not for myself.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended greetings on the RSS’s 101st foundation day, describing its work as a journey of nation-building through individual development.
