PM Modi, CM Yogi, other leaders to lead massive rallies ahead of Delhi polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to conduct massive rallies in Delhi, featuring top leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Nitin Gadkari.

Chief Ministers and leaders from various states, including Yogi Adityanath, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, will also join the campaign ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

PM Modi’s rallies are likely to take place in the last week of January, with the Prime Minister expected to address three to four gatherings, according to a senior party source.

The BJP is launching a series of rallies starting January 23, specifically targeting Purvanchali voters. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the main face of the campaign, addressing 14 rallies across various locations in Delhi, including Kirari, Outer Delhi, Keshav Puram, North West Delhi, Shahdara, Karol Bagh, Najafgarh, Mehrauli, South Delhi, and Mayur Vihar.

Other prominent Purvanchali leaders such as Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Nirahua, Samrat Choudhary, and Giriraj Singh will also participate in rallies at different locations from January 23 onwards. Additionally, the BJP plans to organize several bike rallies in areas with significant Purvanchali populations.

As part of its outreach efforts, the BJP has already conducted over 2,500 small meetings and drawing-room gatherings. On Makar Sankranti, the party aimed to organize 70 “baithaks” (meetings) and has successfully completed 50 so far. The BJP’s objective is to convince voters about the benefits of a BJP-led government and highlight the welfare schemes implemented by the central government.

With approximately 50 percent of Purvanchali voters residing in Delhi, the BJP is focusing on maximizing its voter base in the upcoming polls. The campaign is also expected to gain traction among slum area voters originating from Purvanchal.

Meanwhile, PM Modi will interact with BJP workers through the “Mera Booth Sabse Majboot” program online on January 21.
