On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening efforts to preserve the ideals of the Constitution and build a prosperous India.
“Happy Republic Day! Today, we celebrate 75 years of our Republic. We pay tribute to the visionary men and women who crafted our Constitution, ensuring our journey is founded on democracy, dignity, and unity. Let this occasion inspire us to redouble our efforts in safeguarding these ideals and working towards a stronger, more prosperous India,” PM Modi shared on X.
India is set to celebrate its 76th Republic Day on Sunday with a spectacular exhibition of the country’s diversity, unity, growth, and military prowess at Kartavya Path. President Droupadi Murmu will lead the celebrations, while Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
The parade, scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM and last approximately 90 minutes, will commence with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the National War Memorial to pay tributes to fallen heroes. Following this, he will arrive at the saluting dais at Kartavya Path to witness the parade.
