PM Modi highlights Mental Health and AI in Year-End Mann Ki Baat session

The session, aired on Akashvani, showcased PM Modi's appreciation for the response to the upcoming Ram Temple inauguration and emphasized the importance of AI in different sectors.

Focus on Mental Health:

Lauding the nation's response to the Fit India movement, PM Modi shifted the spotlight to the importance of mental health alongside physical fitness. Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand shared insights into his fitness routine, emphasizing the significance of sufficient sleep for maintaining composure and mental well-being. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar advocated for a proper diet and natural methods of physical improvement, cautioning against reliance on chemicals.

Ram Temple Inauguration and #RamBhajan Drive:

Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22. He acknowledged the multitude of poems, prose, and creative contributions pouring in to mark the consecration of Lord Ram. In a call to citizens, PM Modi urged them to consolidate all the artistic expressions related to the event into a #RamBhajan social media drive, creating a unified celebration across the nation.

Importance of AI Tools:

Highlighting the transformative power of technology, PM Modi discussed the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in bringing convenience to various sectors of society. He referenced the Kashi-Tamil Sangmam event, where the indigenous AI-powered Bhashini app facilitated seamless translation of his words from Hindi to Tamil. PM Modi envisioned the widespread implementation of such technology in sectors like judiciary and education, emphasizing the need for youths to explore and enhance real-time translation AI tools to make them foolproof.

“I urge the youths to explore AI tools related to real-time translation and make them 100 per cent foolproof,” he said.

Achievements in Sports:

Reflecting on India's sporting achievements in the past year, PM Modi celebrated the outstanding performance of athletes in international events. Indian athletes secured 107 medals in the Asian Games and 111 medals in the Asian Para Games. He also commended the Indian cricket team for winning hearts with their performance in the Cricket World Cup. Looking ahead, PM Modi encouraged the nation to support and encourage athletes as they prepare for the upcoming Paris Olympics in 2024.

India's Spirit of Development:
