PM Modi holds Council of Ministers’ meeting; pushes faster reforms, better governance to realise ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the government remains committed to accelerating reforms aimed at improving “Ease of Living” and “Ease of Doing Business” as part of its long-term vision of building a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.

The remarks came after PM Modi chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Seva Teerth in New Delhi on Thursday.

In a post on X, PM Modi, “Had a fruitful meeting of the Council of Ministers yesterday. We exchanged perspectives and best practices relating to boosting ‘Ease of Living, ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and how to further reforms in order to realise our shared dream of a Viksit Bharat.”

The Council of Ministers currently comprises 30 Cabinet ministers, five Ministers of State with independent charge and 36 Ministers of State.
