PM Modi shares Sanskrit Subhashitam on truth and perseverance after BJP’s historic victory in Bengal assembly polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam underscoring the importance of truth, compassion and perseverance in achieving lasting success.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Success attained through tireless effort and walking the path of truth is enduring. It not only boosts self-confidence but also brings profound satisfaction to the mind.”

The message came a day after the historic victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal assembly polls, which the Prime Minister described as a significant political moment. On Monday, PM Modi joined celebrations at the party headquarters in New Delhi, where he embraced Bengali cultural traditions by wearing a dhoti-kurta and addressing supporters in Bangla.

During his address, the Prime Minister praised the record voter turnout and lauded party workers for their “extraordinary” contribution to the electoral success. He also pointed to the BJP’s expanding footprint across states along the Ganga, calling the outcome a historic shift in India’s political landscape.
