Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan for their wishes and kind words as he completed 25 continuous years as Head of Government.
Thanking President Droupadi Murmu, the Prime Minister said his 25-year journey of service has been deeply fulfilling and shaped at every stage by the affection, faith and blessings of the people.
PM Modi said the progress witnessed by the country has been possible because crores of Indians chose to participate in the nation’s transformation with confidence and determination. He added that it was especially heartening to see this change reflected in the everyday lives of people.
The Prime Minister affirmed that he would continue to serve the nation with the same spirit of duty and devotion as everyone moves together towards building a Viksit Bharat.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:

These years have been a deeply fulfilling journey of service, shaped at every stage by the affection, faith and blessings of the people.

The Prime Minister also thanked Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan for his wishes.

The Prime Minister affirmed that he remains committed to working with even greater energy to realise the collective vision of a Viksit Bharat.

PM Modi completed 25 continuous years as Head of Government on Wednesday, marking a political journey that began with his assumption of office as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and continued with his taking over as Prime Minister of India in 2014.
