PM Modi to distribute over 61,000 appointment letters at 18th Rozgar Mela on January 24

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 61,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organisations on January 24 as part of the 18th edition of the Rozgar Mela. The Prime Minister will address the appointees at 11 am through video conferencing.

The Rozgar Mela is a flagship initiative of the Union Government, reflecting the Prime Minister’s emphasis on employment generation and youth empowerment. Since the launch of the initiative, over 11 lakh recruitment letters have been issued to successful candidates through Rozgar Melas held across the country.

The 18th Rozgar Mela will be organised simultaneously at 45 locations nationwide, ensuring broad participation from all regions. Candidates selected from across India will be inducted into a wide range of central government ministries and departments.

New recruits will join key institutions including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Department of Higher Education and several other government departments and organisations.
