Prime Minister Narendra Modi today is set to meet Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi in New Delhi. Both leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of topics, focusing on strengthening the partnership between India and the UAE.
The Crown Prince arrived in New Delhi last evening for a two-day official visit to India, his first since assuming his role. He is accompanied by a delegation that includes several UAE government ministers and business leaders.
Tomorrow, Sheikh Khaled will travel to Mumbai to attend a business forum where leaders from both countries will explore opportunities for further cooperation.
India and the UAE share a long-standing and strong friendship that has significantly deepened in recent years. The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries spans a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, energy, technology, education, and culture. In the fiscal year 2022-23, bilateral trade between India and the UAE reached $85 billion, positioning the UAE as India’s third-largest trading partner, following China and the US.
