PM Modi to inaugurate ESTIC 2025 on Nov 3, launch Rs 1 lakh crore RDI scheme fund

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, at around 9:30 a.m. on November 3. The three-day conclave, being held from November 3 to 5, will bring together leading minds from academia, research institutions, industry and government to discuss advancements and opportunities in emerging technologies.

In a landmark move to strengthen India’s research and innovation landscape, the Prime Minister will also launch the ₹1 Lakh Crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund. The ambitious initiative aims to foster a robust private sector-driven R&D ecosystem, encouraging greater participation of industries in innovation and technological development.

More than 3,000 participants – including Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, innovators, policymakers, and representatives from research organizations and universities – are expected to attend ESTIC 2025. The conclave will feature talks by leading scientists, panel discussions, technology showcases, and presentations focused on collaboration between researchers, industry leaders, and young innovators.

Deliberations will revolve around 11 key thematic areas: Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, Blue Economy, Digital Communications, Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging Agriculture Technologies, Energy, Environment & Climate, Health & Medical Technologies, Quantum Science & Technology, and Space Technologies.

By bringing together global and domestic experts across these domains, ESTIC 2025 aims to strengthen India’s science and technology ecosystem.
