Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat and Odisha, where he is set to launch key development projects and engage with beneficiaries of flagship government schemes.
Prime Minister today will kick off his visit by interacting with the beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in Gandhinagar at 9:45 AM. Shortly after, at 10:30 AM, he will inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor’s Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST) at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. This global event is aimed at attracting international investors and showcasing India’s renewable energy potential.
Later in the day, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, which will boost the city’s public transport network. He will also take a ride on the metro from Section 1 Metro Station to GIFT City Metro Station, symbolizing the government’s focus on urban infrastructure development.
At 3:30 PM in Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth over Rs. 8,000 crores. These projects are expected to significantly enhance the city’s infrastructure and drive economic growth.
On September 17, the Prime Minister will visit Odisha. At 11:15 AM, he is scheduled to interact with the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban. Following this, at 12:00 noon, he will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth over Rs. 3,800 crores in Bhubaneswar. These projects are aimed at bolstering housing, infrastructure, and economic development in the region.
