PM Modi unveils Swarved Mahamandir in Varanasi, advocates spiritual and cultural revival

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi reflected on the significance of his visit to Kashi, stating that every moment spent in the sacred city was marked by unprecedented experiences. Commemorating the centenary celebrations of Akhil Bhartiya Vihangam Yog Sansthan, PM Modi expressed gratitude for being part of this historic occasion.

He underscored the profound impact of Vihangam Yog Sadhna, attributing it to the transformative journey of a hundred years led by Maharshi Sadafal Dev Ji. Acknowledging the organization of the 25,000 kundiya Swarved Gyan Mahayajna on this auspicious occasion, PM Modi expressed confidence that the offerings made would contribute to the strength and development of Viksit Bharat.

In his speech, the Prime Minister lauded the collective efforts of the government, society, and Sant Samaj in the transformation of Kashi. Describing Swarved Mahamandir as an epitome of this collective spirit, he characterized it as a modern symbol of India's social and spiritual strength.

PM Modi emphasized the temple's significance as a captivating example of divinity and grandeur, labeling it a 'Yoga and Gyan Teerth.' Reflecting on India's rich heritage, he stated that the nation has historically pursued material progress through spiritual and humane symbols.

Drawing attention to symbols of India's faith that were targeted by foreign invaders, the Prime Minister reiterated the need to revive and take pride in them after gaining independence. He cited examples such as the rejuvenation of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Mahakal Mahalok, Kedarnath Dham, Buddha Circuit, ongoing work on the Ram Circuit, and the soon-to-be-inaugurated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

PM Modi stressed the importance of holistic development by incorporating social realities and cultural identities. He cited the example of Kashi's rejuvenation, highlighting the positive impact on the economy and job creation in the city.

The Prime Minister concluded his speech by outlining nine resolutions for Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal, urging citizens to save water, promote digital transactions, enhance cleanliness efforts, support indigenous products, explore India, raise awareness about natural farming, include millets in daily life, prioritize sports, fitness, or yoga, and support at least one poor family to eradicate poverty.

The event was attended by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Narendra Nath Pandey, Sadguru Acharya Swatantradeo Ji Maharaj, and Sant Pravar Vigyandeo Ji Maharaj.
