Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed condolences on the passing of Dadi Ratan Mohini, the chief administrator of the Brahma Kumaris. She passed away on Tuesday at the age of 101 in a private hospital in Ahmedabad.

CM Sharma said, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the demise of Dadi Ratanmohini, the Chief Rajyogini of Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. Her demise is an irreparable loss to the spiritual world. May Lord Ram grant strength to the bereaved followers to bear this immense loss. Om Shanti.”

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also paid tribute to the spiritual leader. In a post on X, she wrote, “I am shocked to hear the news of Dadi Ratan Mohini’s passing. Dadi’s life and her contributions to the upliftment of society serve as an inspiration to all of us.”

Born on March 25, 1925, in Hyderabad, Sindh (now in Pakistan), Dadi Ratan Mohini was drawn to spirituality from an early age and played a pivotal role in shaping the Brahma Kumaris movement. She remained active in her spiritual service until the final days of her life.

She began her journey by mentoring young women in spiritual practice before fully dedicating herself to the Brahma Kumaris institution. Over the decades, she was instrumental in nurturing thousands of women and expanding the organization’s outreach across India and abroad.

In 1985, she embarked on a series of spiritual pilgrimages to promote cultural and moral values. In 2006, she undertook a 31,000-kilometre journey, and over her lifetime, she walked more than 70,000 kilometres to spread her message of peace and self-realization.

As the National Chairperson of the Brahma Kumaris Youth Division, Dadi Ratan Mohini focused on empowering youth with human values and ethical living. Under her leadership, more than 46,000 sisters were trained across 4,600 service centres in India.
